Tucked away in the heart of Alcudia's pretty Old Town, this charming manor house hotel and restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the main square. The building is one of many typical 19th century Mallorcan manor houses which line the Old Town's narrow streets. Renovated in early 2004, many of the townhouse features have been tastefully retained.
The delightful entrance, with exposed stone walls, pillared arches and a high wood-beamed ceiling, leads through to a lounge area and pleasant courtyard at the back. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and each is individually decorated with dark furniture and pale colours.
The Superior Room at the top of the house is a favourite because of its large bathroom with big Jacuzzi bath. Venture back downstairs, and across the courtyard is a small indoor swimming pool with a sauna and fitness area. The courtyard itself is dotted with tables and chairs from the restaurant, which also leads inside to a separate dining area. Local Mallorcan food is served up during most times of the day, or the Old Town's good selection of restaurants are just a short stroll away.

Alcudia old town. Located a few kilometres inland, the historical walled town is very different from its sister port. The one time capital of Mallorca has one of the most picture postcard town centres with its restored stone houses and pretty cobbled streets. The main square is the hub of activity with restaurants and cafes (and the odd souvenir shop!).
Alcudia and Pollenca bays have long sandy stretches which lead into the shallow waters. Platja Muro is part of Alcudia Bay but offers a quieter alternative to the main resort areas.
Pollenca old town is an ancient town where a maze of pleasant narrow streets leads to a vast main square full of tasteful café and restaurant terraces. North of the main square is the impressive Calvary Hill, 365 stone steps lined with cypress trees leading to a hilltop pilgrimage chapel. The views from the top look out across the town towards the coast and are certainly worth the hike!
Port de Pollenca is an attractive, laid back resort on a sweeping horseshoe bay. The bay has a long sandy beach to the south, a picturesque harbour in the centre and a pleasant pine walk to the north. The Port is relatively quiet and has a more refined atmosphere than a typical resort.
