This stylish and exclusive hotel sits on the sea front of a tranquil harbour, and is within easy reach of Palma's Old Town.
The Portixol is a unique mix of Scandinavian simplicity and Mediterranean warmth. Its Swedish owners have totally revamped the hotel with a modern style that creates a contemporary feel of light and space. Touches of flair break up the minimalist design, and comfortable chairs, generous beds and well-equipped bathrooms ensure a high degree of comfort.
The hotel's enviable position means that you can enjoy sea and harbour views whether you're take a bite to eat, sipping a cocktail or lounging in your room. On the ground floor, the restaurant and cocktail bar are surrounded by large glass windows that open out onto decked terraces and a designer pool. With light lunches served from the bar together with a high quality seafood restaurant, the Portixol has everything you need for long lazy days. There is of course the added benefit that it sits within a vibrant city. It's a short walk to the long palm lined promenade which connects the Portixol to Palma's Old Town where everything can be found.
30 bedrooms All the rooms are well planned with a high degree of comfort. The most spacious rooms are the Mediterranean View rooms, some of which can accommodate a family of four. In 2007, the hotel introduced the Port House rooms, which are in a separate building with their own living room and private terrace.
Most have panoramic views of the sea and/or harbour whilst all have the latest technology including TV, Video, Music and two direct telephone lines.
