This rural hideaway is a real peaceful retreat, sitting in the rolling countryside close to the virgin beach coves of the east coast.
A stones throw from the small traditional village of Son Macia, Sa Vall is a 16th century country house that has been totally restored into a charming place to stay. The house is divided into apartments and two double rooms so guests can choose to cater for themselves and/or enjoy some of the local specialities in the surrounding areas.
The hosts are a friendly local Mallorcan family and are readily available with information on the surrounding area, whether you wish to walk, cycle or discover the nearby beach coves.
Staying around the house is also a treat. There are large terraces, with tables and chairs, and an inviting infinity swimming pool looking out on the peaceful countryside. It provides a perfect setting for long lazy days, and with the village less than 1km away, it's easy to stock up at the local supermarket or take a bite to eat.
2 double rooms 3 one bedroom apartments 1 two bedroom apartment All the double rooms and apartments are comfortable with individual touches and en-suite bathrooms. The two bedroom apartment has one bathroom. The house has been cleverly designed so that the rooms and apartments can be combined to provide a larger self contained apartment for groups up to 6 people.
All the
apartments have a small kitchenette (incl. microwave), living areas and a
private terrace. Sat-TV is also provided in every room/apartment.
On reservation, directions will be sent to you. Sa Vall is located in the countryside next to the small village of Son Macia. The village is situated on a country road that connects the east coast to the main Manacor - Felanitx road.
Within Sa Vall's estate there are remains of a 2000 years old Talayotic settlement.
From Porto Cristo to Cala D'Or, the coastline is littered with virgin cove beaches, accessed via small country roads and tracks. Ask at the hotel for the best ones to visit.
Porto Petro is a quaint low key harbour resort with a frontline of restaurants that look down onto the boats. There’s no beach here so it remains a quiet and relaxed place.
Manacor is the second largest town on the island (after Palma). It’s an industrial town so doesn’t have the charm of other places, but if you’re looking for furniture or pearls this is the place to visit.
Golf Son Servera.

A
front nine that wind between rocky gullies with a more open back nine
creates a challenging course with a fine view of the
