The
hotel was fantastic- beautiful setting and great service. The GM Anna
was incredibly helpful and all her suggestions were spot on. Breakfast
was great and the setting was a lovely terrace.
Really enjoyed it
so thanks for the recommendation.

We were really happy
with our choice of hotel which we stayed at for 2 weeks for our
honeymoon, it was modern, nice and intimate feel to it being a smaller
hotel with not many bedrooms so a lovely feeling to the hotel. Not
touristy. Lovely spacious bedroom, light and airy, good aircon, very
comfortable lounge area too with attractive decor and modern art and
staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool and comfortable pool
area to sunbath which was great with amazing views of the mountains
particularly all around the pool area and also great views from the
open air breakfast terrace which was a real treat. Breakfast was very
well presented and very good food. Other meals at the hotel were quite
expensive to buy separately and not really worth the money the odd
time we decided to have lunch there during our stay but otherwise all
in all we had a great experience and a we had a wonderful honeymoon
thanks to "the other Mallorca" website helping us find this gem. 9/10

We had
an idyllic time at Can Verdera and would definitely go back. We were
looking for rest and peace and quiet in a beautiful setting in a
boutique hotel, and this is exactly what we got. The penthouse suite
was lovely, spacious, a great place to relax in. The hotel interior
is nicely designed, clearly with style in mind, and staff were
absolutely charming. I do have a couple of small moans. The first –
and most important – is that food in the evenings was extremely
limited and not particularly good in our opinion (whereas breakfast
was excellent). There are restaurants very close by but on a couple of
evenings we just felt like staying in. I also think there needs to be
more shade / umbrellas on the terrace of the penthouse suite. Lastly,
I would say that there could be a little more comfort in the living
room of the suite in terms of the furnishings. But these are
relatively minor issues. The atmosphere was delightful – something
that made itself felt as soon as you walked through the door. We often
remarked how amazing it was that you were in the middle of a vibrant
village and yet secluded and tranquil and closely connected to
nature. Would love to go back.

We had a wonderful stay
at Ca'n Verdera. The hotel is stunning (bathroom absolutely enormous
and very luxurious), with the most amazing art by Arturio Rhodes, the
staff couldn't do enough for us, including turning down the bed, the
gardens beautiful, only pity was
that we couldn't use the pool because of the awful weather! Maybe
another time.

Very pleasant stay at
the hotel. All the staff most helpful and friendly. The village
provided us with a variety of good restaurants and to cap it all the
weather was lovely!

The hotel was lovely,
room was very well presented and the bathroom was fab. The staff
provided a really personal touch to the stay and I would definitely
recommend it to others. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful and I
can honestly say there were no negative aspects to our staff.

We came here for a
quiet, romantic break for our wedding anniversary. The setting-
gorgeous, rural retreat, with lovely gardens, terraces, and a pool
with a view. The room- lovely, great service, with nice products.
Unique (?) art! The hotel- very nicely run, with friendly staff, good
service and a good breakfast thrown in The spa- My husband had a
massage for his anniversary present- he said it was the best he has
ever had in his life- praise indeed. Overall, for the price 8/10. It
would have been great to be able to eat there during our stay

On our recent trip to
mallorca we stayed at some lovely places but this was easily the best
of the lot. A beautiful small boutique hotel was immaculate,
unobtrusive service set in a very pretty village. The views across the
mountains at breakfast time are amazing. The rooms were large and
tasteful. Faultless.

Well, what can i say. Can Verdera
is paradise. It was better than it looks in the pictures. A small,
friendly, relaxed hotel. The staff were lovely. The village itself
was idyllic. Our room exquisite and immaculate. We loved it and will
definitely be going back. For anyone looking for hi tech, food etc
available 24 hours it isn't. But we were looking for Mallorcan charm,
laid back and to be allowed to relax. Can Verdera fitted the bill
perfectly.

Just to say that I
really wanted to thank you for recommending the Hotel Ca’n Verdera at
Fornalutx. It was just what I needed and a very welcoming hotel in a
gorgeous setting. The staff were very friendly and made me feel
totally comfortable and at ease, which was most appreciated as I was
by myself.

A very special place,
located within an unspoilt, picturesque village. The staff are
exceptional - friendly, helpful and considerate. The room (with
terrace) we stayed in overlooked the hotel's well-kempt gardens and
delightful pool, with a magnificent mountainous backdrop. The room
itself was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic jacuzzi and
shower. The buffet breakfast was pleasurable, presented within a very
relaxed setting. The hotel is adorned with contemporary works of art
that further set it apart. We used the hotel for bed and breakfast -
at the time we stayed (Easter) there was no dining option - but with
some excellent restaurants nearby - all within a minute or so walk
through cobbled streets - this fully met our needs. 10/10.

Beautiful small hotel.
Pool in nestled amongst orange and lemon trees.
Spectacular views of mountains. Really pretty stylish rooms. Cool
marble
bathrooms with all amenities. Apart from a really good breakfast the
food is
not great. The staff are adorable. Is a place to totally relax in an
extremely pretty village. Would be delighted to return even alone as
the
atmosphere is comfortable and friendly.

Well
this was a little slice of paradise on earth and we will definitely
return in the future - it had everything, beautiful pool, friendly
staff, lovely rooms, good air-conditioning, delicious food, close
proximity to a couple of restaurants (one chi chi, one down to earth)
and a few bars (one for beer, one for wicked Mojitos) - what more can
one ask for. Oh yes - the views and scenery are perfect too, and it's
only a short drive from all sorts of pretty tourist spots and beaches.

10 out of 10. We went
for an all too brief honeymoon after getting married in another
village and it was perfect relaxation. The service was charming and
impeccable (thank you especially to Bea Alonso) and we even had dinner
served to us on our private jasmine and lavender scented terrace one
night. The hotel is compact but beautifully designed rising from the
central morrocan style courtyard and bar to the small pool framed by
orange and lemon trees and bougainvillea, and the garden terraces
which led to a restaurant terrace overlooking the mountains and the
valley below. The rooms aren't huge but our bathroom ( and I'm a
connoisseur!) was gorgeous with it's sunken bath and view of the
village rooftops. Attention to detail is what they get so right. A
little piece of paradise for stressed and exhausted people.

10 out of 10. Absolutely
perfect hotel. Lovely suite and every little touch you could imagine.
Beautiful breakfasts with freshest ingredients. Such a find - would
not like too many people to know about it! Not a problem for us but
definitely not for the infirm - steps and hills and cannot take car to
doorway of hotel.

We loved this hotel. It
is the perfect place to unwind & recuperate. The hotel is a fantastic
blend of stylish, individual decor, gorgeous grounds, peaceful vibe,
charming low-key service and superb food. I'm a fussy hotel guest and
this hotel ticked all the boxes. The set dinner each evening is
absolutely fantastic: tasty, fresh local fare and excellent VFM. We
went for a standard room and were thrilled - it was spacious, the
bathroom great, comfy bed etc etc. I really cannot recommend this
hotel more highly and would definitely go back. by the way, we checked
out the other hotels in Fornalutx and really believe this is the best
in the village, which is everything a charming rustic village should
be!

The hotel - Can Verdera
- exceeded our expectations. The decor was smart
but chilled. The courtyard was beautiful and perfect for taking
breakfast (and the pain au chocolates in particular). The pool was
just the right size and set in a very pretty and relaxing garden; and
a great setting for a "light" lunch. The staff were all very friendly
and accommodating. Definitely to be recommended!

9/10 ! ! This hotel
surpassed all expectations which was a comment shared by all my fellow
holidaymakers. The hotel was wonderful - perfect for me on my own and
for those on honeymoon! The decor was beautiful - contemporary but
welcoming. The service and attention to detail was superb, be it fresh
orange brought to the poolside, help with luggage, or simply the
turning down of beds with a chocolate left, or indeed in the dealing
with any request. I ate one night on the upper terrace with a
wonderful view over the valley. Delicious meal. Overall I had a
wonderful quiet holiday and felt very much at home at this hotel. A
perfect holiday for those who do not wish to be in the middle of all
the noise and bustle - far enough away from the madding crowd but with
the village square round the corner, I could happily sit and watch the
world go by. And yet the hotel with its gardens felt a million miles
from anywhere! PS Walking opportunities were great but for 36C
temperatures! Will be going back!!

The
hotel was just what we needed after having a 6 month old baby - we
wanted to chill out, and feel relaxed, not having to rush here and
there etc. The hotel was perfect for that - it was like a 'retreat'
really - quite understated, and low key, but at the same time stylish
and exclusive. The staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much
trouble. We stayed in the Penthouse Suite, which was stunning, and
perfect for us with the baby because we had space to put his cot in
the living area, so we had some well deserved sleep! It had a handy
kitchenette, although there was no crockery or much cutlery, and no
kettle! The fab bathroom and sunken circular bath were a bonus. The
village itself was a real find - very picturesque, peaceful, but with
enough eateries of reasonable standard. We loved it, and wished we had
discovered Mallorca before!
