We
did a tour of the island and stayed for a few days at Son Pons Buger.
We liked its rural and rustic feel. We stayed in the junior suite
near the pool which had character and was peaceful. We liked the
nearby towns of Sa Pobla and Pollenca which had some nice
restaurants and cafes.

This is a simple pleasant farmhouse. It didn’t have some of the
special touches (fancy toiletries) of other small hotels, but then
nor did it have the price tag.

We had a
wonderful stay at Sons Pons & my entire family & I can't wait to
return. The master suite we booked was extremely spacious,
spotlessly clean & perfect for a family. The wet-room style shower
was fabulous, & the jacuzzi bath great fun for the kids! Having our
own private terrace area was lovely, and ideal for our young
children, being slightly away from the main building. The pool was
an oasis of calm, with plenty of shady spots & quiet areas for
resting in. All the communal areas of the hotel were well maintained
& delightfully furnished. The staff were so friendly - really
welcoming & helpful without being in the least bit invasive, & the
evening meal they prepared for us all one night was absolutely
delicious. I loved the fact that everything was so peaceful & the
guests were free to wander round the grounds & building - & help
ourselves to drinks from the honesty bar & games / books from the
lounge. Son Pons is a real hidden gem of a boutique hotel & I
wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was a
fabulous place to stay. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully
furnished, good facilities and a very quiet location. The staff were
extremely
pleasant and helpful too. I would give it 9 out of 10..

A truly rural retreat,
a very relaxing start to our holiday. Well worth having evening meal
- superb home cooked meal in a tranquil, romantic setting.

This place is
wonderful. Beautifully furnished and immaculately maintained.
We felt totally at home here. The staff were friendly and helpful,
the
breakfasts were amazing and the whole place was just so relaxing. We
will definitely be visiting again....only next time for longer.

Hotel is in a great
location to explore the top of the island. Rooms are fantastic and
the meal in the evening was to a very high standard. Lovely location
and great staff.

We have just returned
from a weeks stay at Son Pons. The hotel is beautiful,
rooms spacious and clean. The hotel is really easy to find, well
signposted
and only 15 mins drive from Alcudia, 25 mins from Pollensa. We had
the pool
to ourselves for the most of our stay, decided to eat elsewhere due
to
limited availability and choice of meals at the hotel. The hotel is
not overlooked, your view is simply mountains and olive trees. I
can't think of anywhere nicer to relax and enjoy the sun.

Fantastic
recommendation! Needed a quiet, relaxing hotel and we got it. Room
was great with lovely views to mountains, pool was perfect,
breakfast very
laid back and whilst the owners were always to hand if you needed
anything
you felt as though you had the place to yourself. Ideally placed for
seeing
Pollensa and Alcudia but we had a car and did lots of driving around
and
found some great beaches and wonderful places to eat!!! All in all a
great
holiday and a return visit is on the cards...thanks very much 10/10

We had a wonderful
holiday at this beautiful and peaceful hotel. The owners were
charming and helpful. The rooms, pool, lounges, terraces and gardens
were all lovely. This was our first visit to Mallorca and we wanted
to avoid the tourist traps. This hotel was the ideal alternative.
You need a car if you stay here - as your website recommended, but
the hotel is only 15 minutes drive from Pollenca and Alcudia, and 20
minutes from the quieter beaches at Muro - with the sand dunes of
the nature reserve behind you rather than the hotels. The hotel is
within easy reach of the mountain villages at Luc and Soller, and we
even caught the local train from Sa Pobla (only 5 minutes drive from
Son Pons) into Palma for the day. I would definitely recommend this
hotel to friends - ideal for couples and families with very young
children.

We very much enjoyed
our stay at the relaxed Son Pons. Everyone was charming, Christophe
was extremely helpful and the suite was the right choice. Would
definitely like to return at some time. We were also lucky with the
weather, which was better than expected for this time of the year.

Great bedroom (no
2)-large, clean great views. Fantastic swimming pool and
grounds to hotel. Delicious breakfast. Reception staff very helpful. Would
highly recommend Son Pons, Buger.

Excellent hotel with a
very Spanish feel. We were looked after very well by Christophe and
Antonia and our suite was lovely. The internal areas, pool and gardens
have been maintained to a very high standard and sit in beautiful,
peaceful surroundings. A must for lovers of the real mallorca. Fantastic
Holiday!

Son Pons was great - we
had booked a double but were offered a suite at a rate we could hardly
refuse. Very charming service - when we asked if bikes were available
they got a couple repaired for us, and when i wandered outside and
picked an orange the son-in-law took it and brought it back peeled and
cut up an a plate! A very handy location. Really interesting market
at Sineu on Wed mornings.

Plus points: Gorgeous, quiet, peaceful location. Lovely, friendly
staff. Delicious food. Great breakfast. But on the down side: Rooms a
bit small, too many flies around the pool (understandable though as it
is a farm!). The main gripe was that the "dinner available on request"
claim turned out to be untrue. We were only offered dinner twice in
ten days, although it was absolutely delicious when we did have it.
Overall, a great holiday though.

9/10, a score of 10 would apply if
the hotel cooked every night! This was the perfect simple escape -
like staying in someone's house without them - just perfect! Complete
peace to stay by the pool or explore Mallorca. The family were
helpful, supportive and completely unobtrusive - the cooking was
sensational.
