Can Simoneta is a stylish and peaceful haven perched in a truly absorbing position with endless sea views. Sympathetically renovated in 2004, the expansive estate sits in an unrivalled cliff top location with it's own private rocky cove, and a sandy beach just five minutes walk away. With just the sound of the breeze and the sea below, this once monk's retreat, has become a real luxury hideaway. The guest bedrooms are divided between the main house and a smaller second building close to the cliff top. This separate stone house dates back to the last century, and is home to some of the hotel's most elegant Suites, with muslin draped four poster beds, huge windows and glorious views.
Outside is where Can Simoneta really excels. Indulge in a massage under a shaded pine tree, kick back in the cliff top jacuzzi or simply lounge by the designer pool with comfortable daybeds. When hunger strikes, relaxed lunches can be arranged on the large outdoor terrace, or later in the day, enjoy one of the restaurants refined Mediterranean specialities. When it's finally time to explore the surrounds, there are some great beach coves and golf courses (10% discount on green fees) all within a short drive.
11 Double rooms 2 Double with terrace 4 Junior Suite (2 with terraces) 1 Suite superior with chill out area (Suite located on the first floor with uninterrupted sea view views. It is an outdoor area close by that is private and exclusive to the room).
1 Suite with large
terrace The bedrooms are all individually decorated in a modern, elegant and simple style, with immaculate bathrooms. All rooms have air conditioning and central heating, telephone, minibar, satellite television, hairdryer & internet connection.
On reservation, directions will be sent to you. Located on the East coast, a stones throw from Canyamel and approximately 10km from Arta.
Arta sits against the dramatic backdrop of the rolling Serres de Llevant mountains. The town is a maze of steep alleys and streets that lead up to the hill top chapel of Santuari de Sant Salvador.
Calas Torta, Mitjana and Estreta are secluded sandy beaches at the end of a very bumpy track through the Serres de Llevant. Backed by dunes and mountains they have an unspoilt feel and are less populated because of their location.
Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla are more accessible but still maintain an unspoilt air. The water here is crystal clear.
The east coast is dotted with numerous caves, however the best can be found at the Coves d’Arta, located on the coast about 5km southeast of Arta.
Golf Canyamel, Capdepera & Pula Golf
