This charming country house has all the peace and tranquillity of the the countryside yet is only a short drive to some of Mallorca's best sandy beach coves. Nestled between the pretty town of Arta and the sea, El Encinar is a spacious and colourful estate with splendid country views to the sea. Originating from the 18th century, the main house and it's numerous outbuildings have been tastefully restored into a welcoming and comfortable place to stay. A sense of privacy also exists, with the eight bedrooms generously spaced out around the grounds, in what once were the stables, granary house and main residence.
Outside is a perfect place to idle away the long sunny days. Large terraces, spacious gardens and an inviting pool sit on raised land and offer great views. The most privileged position is saved for the top terrace, where you can enjoy alfreso breakfasts, tasty evening dinners and a well stocked honesty bar!
Exploring nearby, this area is great for golf and beach lovers. The east has a good concentration of golf courses, and two are within 10 minutes drive. Arta is also close by, with a good selection of cafes and restaurants.

All have a private outdoor seating area together with air conditioning, heating and satellite television. The separate house is in the garden and has two bedrooms, a living area, two bathrooms and kitchenette.
On reservation, directions will be sent to you. Located in the countryside, 5km from Arta and about a 60km drive from Palma airport (main road via Manacor).
Arta sits against the dramatic backdrop of the rolling Serres de Llevant mountains. The town is a maze of steep alleys and streets that lead up to the hill top chapel of Santuari de Sant Salvador.
Cala Mesquida and Cala Agulla and the more remote beaches of Calas Torta, Mitjana and Estreta
The famous caves - Coves d’Arta as well as Coves dels Hams and Coves del Drac.
Golf courses of Capdepera and Pula Golf.
