Opened in March 2006, Hotel Esplendido is an exciting new venture from the owners of Hotel Portixol. Sitting on the sea front in the centre of Port de Soller, this grand building has been totally renovated in the style of a modern day vintage seaside hotel. The Portixol owners, famous for their high standards and tasteful touches, have transformed this sleeping beauty into a must-stay place for the style conscious traveller. The building's five floors cascade down, with each tier having private balconies or terrace areas looking out to sea. All the bedrooms are airy and light. Quirky touches of retro furnishings and wallpaper are combined with calming neutrals. The bathrooms are modern and stylish, where shiny chrome fittings are softened by wooden surfaces and walls of tiny pebbles. Esplendido is a relaxed place to stay, offering a high level of service. Spend a lazy afternoon by the pool, lay back in the outdoor jacuzzi, or indulge yourself with one of the tempting health and beauty treatments. For those more active moments, there's a well equipped gym, and reception are pleased to help golfers arrange tee-off times at reduced rates. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Port de Soller so you can easily take a stroll along the seafront, eat out at one of the seafood restaurants, or take the old style tram into the ancient town of Soller. If venturing out seems too much bother, Esplendido's stylish bar and bistro serves up exotic cocktails and tasty local and international cuisine.
All rooms are of a similar design with modern luxuries and comfortable beds. Some have spectacular sea views while others look towards the garden and pool. The two Atico rooms are spacious with large sea view terraces, and take up a private part of the fifth floor (with it's own private bridge to the pool). The Suite Esplendido is on the fourth floor, with a large sea view terrace and outdoor jacuzzi.

On reservation, full directions will be sent to you. Esplendido Hotel is on the sea front in the fishing port of Soller. Outside is a small beach, and it's 3km to Soller town and approx 30 minutes from Palma airport.
Port de Soller is predominately a fishing and sailing Port combined with a low-key seaside resort. There's a small sandy beach and plenty of boats to take you up the coast to visit pretty Cala Tuent and the breathtaking Torrent de Pareis. The trip to these remote attractions is becoming very popular and it's possibly best to go in spring or autumn. The Port also has good selection of bars and restaurants, and great vintage tram that takes people to the town of Soller. The picture postcard villages of Fornalutx, Deia and Biniaraix. Walking/Hiking - This area is ideal if you enjoy walking or hiking. Soller is a small, elegant and arty town, set at the end of the breathtaking mountain steam train ride from Palma.
