Son Julia is a beautifully restored historical mansion, sitting in the peaceful countryside, yet close to Palma city and Mallorca's best virgin beaches.
The splendid residence dates back to the 15th century, and its latest make-over has sensitively created a grand and luxurious place to stay. Elegant furniture, handmade carpets and local works of art have been carefully woven into the buildings framework, offering a glimmer of the Julia family's dignified past.
The most demanding luxury seeking travellers should be satisfied here. Three swimming pools, two restaurants, tennis courts and a fully equipped health and Spa area, all sit within the grounds of this tranquil mansion. With only 25 rooms, this grand scale luxury is skilfully balanced with the intimacy of a small hotel.
On one side of the house there's a large outdoor terrace area with comfortable loungers, swimming pool and outdoor grill, serving fresh meat and local fish. To reach the second pool, wander through the delightful Arabian Gardens to be met at the other side by a huge expanse of shimmering blue. The impressive pool is complete with swimjets, designer furniture and private Cabañas. Outside the grounds, Golfers are easily pleased with two 18 hole golf courses within 5 minutes. For the less energetic, some of Mallorca's finest beaches are less than 15 minutes drive away.
