Son Siurana is a charming centuries old country estate close to the old towns of Pollenca and Alcudia, and the Northeast's long sandy beaches. Perched on a hillside with far reaching country views, the spacious estate is run by the friendly Rosello family, and it has over 100 hectares of well-tended gardens, terraces, almond and fig trees, and pastures for grazing sheep. The main house and outbuildings are full of character. Most rooms have the traditional wood beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls, and for added charm the Rosello family have introduced their family antiques and paintings throughout.
The front of the main house enjoys the best views, and from here guests can breakfast alfresco on a pretty terrace, or take the stairs down to the lower level and cool off in the huge pool. Surrounded by loungers and parasols, this is a beautiful spot to while-away the hours and recharge the batteries.
Exploring nearby, there are unlimited options. The Ports of Pollenca and Alcudia will satisfy the beach and golf enthusiasts, while their Old Towns are great places to wander around and enjoy local quality restaurants.

Alcudia old town. Located a few kilometres inland, the historical walled town is very different from its sister port. The one time capital of Mallorca has one of the most picture postcard town centres with its restored stone houses and pretty cobbled streets. The main square is the hub of activity with restaurants and cafes.
Alcudia and Pollenca bays have long sandy stretches which lead into the shallow waters. Platja Muro is part of Alcudia Bay but offers a quieter alternative to the main resort areas.
Pollenca old town is an ancient town where a maze of pleasant narrow streets leads to a vast main square full of tasteful café and restaurant terraces.
Port de Pollenca is an attractive, laid back resort on a sweeping horseshoe bay. The bay has a long sandy beach to the south, a picturesque harbour in the centre and a pleasant pine walk to the north.
For breathtaking scenery and a great beach head towards Cap de Formentor.
