Cala Sant Vicenc Review

The red stuccoed four star Relais & Chateau award winning hotel is located just 200 metres from the sea.

The hotel is set in the former fishing village of Cala Sant Vicenc, in the northern part of the island where the Tramuntana mountains begin. Set in lush green surrounds in the midst of the picturesque resort, Cala Sant Vicenc's striking and immaculate exterior echoes the standards that continue inside. Attention to detail is a priority for this welcoming family run hotel with its classical furnishings, comfortable sofas and a smattering of antiques, Persian rugs and artworks. The hotel also boasts two eateries -  restaurant Cavall Bernat and the Italian Trattoria. Both have a modern, minimalist style with spacious terraces for eating al fresco. For more informal dining, the poolside bar serves a light menu.

The hotel's terraces, gardens and generous sized pool are perfect places to soak up the sun, and for a change of scenery there are three sandy bays only minutes away. The bays have spectacular views of Cavall Bernat which is a cliff often featured on the island's postcards. A windy road ventures some way towards the Cavall Bernat with opportunities to stop off and take a plunge in the crystal clear sea. In the evenings, the resort has several restaurants and bars and the old town of Pollenca, with its historical squares and refined atmosphere, is a 10 minutes drive.

A lovely tranquil and calm hotel, with very attentive and friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend stay and will definitely return. Breakfast was excellent and our daughter especially enjoyed ice cream by the pool each afternoon! We were made to feel very welcome. 10/10
