Villa Can Marshall is a spacious, pretty townhouse in the heart of Deia, Mallorca’s most picture postcard village.

Owned by the hotel next door, S’Hotel Des Puig, the house is simply decorated with neutral furnishings. All the bedrooms feel light, airy and spacious. There is one double room and one twin room on the first floor, with the third bedroom located on the ground floor with twin beds set together. The living room is on the first floor with access to a terrace which offers beautiful mountain views. Downstairs is the dining room, the small yet well equipped kitchen and the bathroom. The house has its own pretty garden dotted with lemon and orange trees and a seated terrace for outdoor meals. A great perk for guests is the use of the hotel's pleasant swimming pool and terrace which offers stunning mountain views.

Can Marshall doesn’t have air-conditioning but the window shutters and tiled and marbled floors help to keep it cool in the warmer months.

Set in the middle of Deia, the house has easy access to all the village has to offer – there is a more than decent selection of cafes and restaurants that go right up to Michelin star standard. Alongside boutique and craft shops the village also has two food shops which offer a variety of produce, from fresh breakfast goodies to meats, cheeses and fruit. For those want to head to the water, five minutes drive away is Cala Deia, a picturesque shingle cove, complete with pretty beachside restaurant and bar.
