This stylish hotel is situated in the heart of the pretty mountain village of Fornalutx. Originally occupying one three storey townhouse, Ca'n Verdera has been such a success that it has been extended into an adjacent house.

The façade of ancient honey-gold walls hides an unexpectedly airy and spacious retreat. The original features of the buildings have been combined with contemporary furnishings, neutral shades and striking art works to create a chic yet welcoming haven. Ca'n Verdera prides itself on its unique interior of modern design and avant garde art, some of which is provided through collaboration  with the gallery "Sala Pelaires".

At the back of the hotel, the lush terraced gardens, patio and swimming pool offer an escape from the outside world with spectacular views across the Soller valley. The best view is from the penthouse suite jacuzzi, perched at the top of the building with windows on two sides. This spacious suite is the ultimate place to stay for those seeking a romantic retreat. The hotels ten other rooms are equally inviting and individual, with neutral furnishings, bold art works, stunning views and spacious state of the art bathrooms.

Breakfast and light lunches are served on the patio, and barbeque dinners are organized on the hotels top terrace. Ideally for those unwilling to stray too far, the village also offers some good restaurants and cafes.

Can Verdera is a perfect place to relax and unwind with the added advantage of the scenic Tramuntana mountains on its doorstep. The hotel is happy to arrange cycle tours, mountain walks, tennis, golf tee off times and massages/beauty treatments.

The hotel was fantastic- beautiful setting and great service. The GM Anna was incredibly helpful and all her suggestions were spot on. Breakfast was great and the setting was a lovely terrace. Really enjoyed it so thanks for the recommendation.
We were really happy with our choice of hotel which we stayed at for 2 weeks for our honeymoon, it was modern, nice and intimate feel to it being a smaller hotel with not many bedrooms so a lovely feeling to the hotel. Not touristy. Lovely spacious bedroom, light and airy, good aircon, very comfortable lounge area too with attractive decor and modern art and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely pool and comfortable pool area to sunbath which was great with amazing views of the mountains particularly all around the pool area and also great views from the open air breakfast terrace which was a real treat. Breakfast was very well presented and very good food. We had a great experience and a we had a wonderful honeymoon thanks to "the other Mallorca" website helping us find this gem. 9/10
