Finca Raims is an ancient manor house, which has retained its original character whilst becoming a peaceful, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. This is an ideal location for wine lovers, as it is home to one of the oldest wine cellars on the island and has a long running wine making history.
The main house remains a grand historical building, complete with antique furniture and original features. This is where the numerous communal rooms are located, including the elegant dining room. The suite is located in the main house, whilst the apartments are dotted in converted barns and stables. All five rooms are individual, cosy and comfortable and are named in honour of the grape vines that Finca Raims used to grow.
Finca Raims has a relaxed, calm atmosphere throughout, with the mature pretty gardens and pool providing the perfect spot to unwind. A nice touch is the well-stocked honesty bar and ice cream supply by the inviting pool. Such thoughtfulness and attention to detail is evident around the finca as the friendly, kind hosts make sure that guests are well looked after in a discreet manner.
Generous and tasty buffet breakfasts of local produce and delicacies are served on the outdoor terrace in the summer months, whilst the impressive yet cosy dining room is used at other times. The hosts also offer a weekly dinner of local produce, which is popular with guests.
The manor house of Finca Raims is located in the heart of the unspoilt pretty village of Algaida, near the main square with its restaurants, cafes and independent shops. The location of the hotel is fabulous for those looking for somewhere off the beaten track, yet in a good position for exploring the rest of the island. It is close to Palma and a variety of beaches, countryside and towns can be easily reached by car.
