HM Jaime III Review

Contemporary, comfortable and centrally located, HM Jaime III offers an affordable city break with a touch of style.

Huge glass windows dominate the front of the hotel and its adjoining restaurant, creating a flood of light in the spacious open plan areas. The tasteful interior has been cleverly designed to enjoy this natural light, and is complemented further by modern design, artistic pieces and splashes of bold colours.

The hotel sits at the top of Calle Jaime III, with the hub of the Old Town just a pleasant stroll away down this popular shopping street. Restaurants and historical sights are all within 10 minutes walk, together with the Modern & Contemporary Art Museum (Es Baluard).

After a busy day in the city, weary travellers can laze in the sauna, jacuzzi and Turkish bath, or relax in the reading room, which comes complete with wireless head phones playing a selection of music. The hotel's restaurant, Constanza, is next door (but can be reached internally) and enjoys a vibrant buzz from a constant stream of guests and city workers. For something different, take a step back in time and try the nearby cafe Ca'n Joan de S'Aigo (C/ Baro Sta. Maria del Sepulcre, 5)

Contemporary, arty designed boutique hotel. Bags of character for price. Great jacuzzi to relax. Good food. Excellent location. Easy walk to old town and port. Perfect blend of the old and new.
Great. Nice hotel convenient for everything. Shops, bars, restaurants and the sea a short walk away. Room was nice and large, and the buffet breakfast had all the usual continental fare, and plenty of it! Pleased we didn't hire a car as you can potter around on foot, and then for day trips we took the train or bus. Soller was worth a visit (by train) and we also had an enjoyable day in Andratx (by bus).
Great modern hotel in good location, small but good quality spa. Very good breakfasts and excellent value for money 9/10
