Nord Hotel Review

Set in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Estellencs, Hotel Nord is a charming, small hotel that has been decorated with thought and taste.

Originally a large town house, the hotel has been beautifully restored by its owner, Antonia, to create a welcoming, laid back place. The centre of the house opens up into a delightful outdoor patio, providing a peaceful place for breakfast or a relaxed evening meal. The hotel has terraces from which to enjoy the sun, and a lounge complete with wood fire for cosy winter nights.

Outside, the steep narrow cobbled streets and honey stone houses offer peaceful surrounds, and there's a smattering of restaurants (international and Mallorcan) and bars. Whilst further down the hill, there's a pleasant shingle beach cove with crystal clear water and a beach bar. The village sits on the side of one of the Tramuntana mountain peaks, Mount Galatzo, and provides great views out to sea and easy access into the mountains.

We were delighted by this hotel. The bedrooms, communal areas and courtyard were all tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The staff were always helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure. Breakfast was good and the courtyard environment for dinner charming. The dinner food was well served but we found the cooked dishes rather bland. 9/10
We had a really great time at this little hotel. The village is lovely and really traditional - windy narrow lanes, old houses, very spanish etc. The beach was great for swimming and the views in the area are stunning. I'd definitely go back.
