S'Hotelet de Santanyi Review

This stylish boutique townhouse hotel is just around the corner from Santanyi’s picturesque pretty main square and a short drive to Mallorca’s beautiful south coast beaches.

The young local owners, with the help of one of the island’s well respected architects, have transformed this traditional townhouse into a unique and contemporary place to stay. From the inconspicuous main entrance to the rooftop terrace, the whole house has a modern minimalist interior interspersed with subtle and sublime art works from around the world.

The five individually designed suites are all unique. Three are at the front of the house while the other two are accessed via the pretty internal courtyard with plunge pool, day beds and table and chairs. All the rooms are light and spacious with modern bathrooms and luxury Bulgari toiletries. For families, the top floor can be converted into a private two bedroom space with its own lounge area.

The young owners are friendly and laid back, and happy to impart their extensive knowledge on local restaurants, beaches and places of interest. Breakfast is served in the beautifully designed breakfast room, with attentive service and a delicious selection of local produce, pastries, fruits, breads and cheeses.

At the back of the hotel across a narrow lane is the Sempreviva House; a separate charming small house for those wishing for more privacy and independence. One room wide and three floors high, it has a lounge, junior suite, bathroom and a kitchen. This has all the comforts of the main house and has been decorated with the same attention to detail and style.

Reservation: For stays from 1 to 5 nights, a deposit of the value of 1 night is necessary to guarantee the reservation.
For stays of 6 and more nights, a deposit of the value of 25% of the stay is necessary to guarantee the reservation.
Cancellation: 30 or more days prior to arrival: refund of the total amount of the deposit
Between 48 hours and 30 days prior to arrival: a penalty of the total amount of the deposit is applicable.
48 hours or less prior to arrival (based on a 15:00 local time check-in): a penalty of the deposit and an additional amount of the value of 50% of the stay is applicable.
No show policy: - For stays from 1 to 7 nights a penalty of 100% of the stay is applicable.
For stays from more than 7 nights a penalty of 50% of the stay is applicable.
Cancellations made from 15:00 hrs on arrival day, are considered as No-Show
Early Departure Policy: A penalty of 75% of the value of the remaining stay will be applicable.
