Surrounded by the natural park of De Llevant the sixteenth century watchtower house of Cases de Son Barbassa is situated in a magical setting close to the sea, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

This beautifully renovated country estate enjoys a privileged position and history, with 3,000 year old ruins of the Talayotic village of Son Barbassa set amidst its many acres.

Cases de Son Barbassa has been stylishly converted, blending ancient original features with contemporary, modern design and furnishings to create a luxury haven in an idyllic setting. Chic comfort reigns throughout this hotel – in the bedrooms, in the watchtower lounge, in the dining room, on the terraces and even round the large swimming pool.

Surrounded by acres of olive and almond groves and spectacular views, the hotel offers a secluded atmosphere yet is remarkably close to some of the islands best beaches, golf courses and the seven hundred year old fortressed town of Capdepera.  Sailing, diving and other water activities can all be arranged locally and there is a horse riding school only 3km away.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights and felt totally refreshed and relaxed. It is definitely away from it all and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. We ate in and enjoyed our meals and also explored a few good local restaurants in Capdepera.
We had a fab time a Son Barbassa. The location is fantastic and you can really get away from it all. The staff were great, the food was too and the pool is amazing. Our room was lovely and I’d definitely recommend the hotel to friends. If you want to getaway from it all and chill out then this is a good place to go.
Lovely hotel in great rural location. Food excellent at breakfast and dinner. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Superb landscape views when dining on terrace.
