Slap bang in the centre of Palma, the elegant Hotel Tres enjoys the vibrant buzz of the Old Town within comfortable and contemporary surrounds.

This former 16th century palace is a mix of modern design and original features. Only a stone's throw from the imposing cathedral, the hotel's impressive arched entrance leads through to a central courtyard. This is a relaxed area with a smattering of tables and comfortable chairs that spill into the open plan bar lounge and restaurant. The bedrooms surround the courtyard on all sides, with entrance to some via a galleried walkway which retains the old beams and elaborate pillars from the buildings regal past.

For total relaxation and inspirational views, take the lift to the roof top terrace and enjoy views of the unrivalled backdrop of sea, mountains and cityscape (hence the name Tres!). Stylishly decked, the terrace is a great place to relax, with comfortable loungers, a sauna and an infinity splash pool. If you decide to really splash out, the Grand Suite has its own private rooftop terrace area with an outdoor Jacuzzi and great views to the cathedral. Inside the Suite is a living room with wide screen plasma TV, two bathrooms and a bedroom.

Fantastic location right beside trendy bars and restaurants in the centre of Palma but yet very quiet. Suite was very modern and spacious. Service was excellent, food superb, staff extremely helpful - all in all a fantastic experience and highly recommended!

Stayed for three days and loved every moment! We really like modern design hotels and Tres has it in abundance. The rooms are stylish and mix really well with the character of the old building. Breakfasts were plentiful and the location was perfect; close to everything. Thanks for your recommendation.

Loved the hotel. Great location for our purposes, perfect for shops and bars and a nice funky atmosphere - nothing too twee or over designed. We had a lovely time!
