Vall de Pollenca Review

Nestled in the peaceful countryside between Pollenca and the Tramuntana mountains, Vall De Pollenca is a charming country house with a relaxed and laid back atmosphere.

The house sits in a beautiful and tranquil position with far reaching views down the valley, yet there is an abundance of nearby local attractions to explore. Head ten minutes in one direction, and enjoy some of Mallorca's best sandy beaches. Ten minutes the other way, and the Tramuntana mountains beckon; with magnificent scenery, pretty villages and unrivalled walking routes.

The house has bundles of character and is rich with original features. Stone floors, large archways and exposed stone walls grace the communal rooms and are tastefully complimented with Mallorcan antiques and artefacts. Staircases branch off this area to the guest bedrooms. Each room is different with its own charm and position within the house.

Breakfast can be enjoyed alfresco on the outside terrace, or in the light filled dining area complete with an ancient olive press. If you're finding it difficult to move, lunches and dinners can be prepared, however the Old Town of Pollenca is 5 minutes drive away. This is one of Mallorca's prettiest towns, with a good selection of restaurants.

Vall de Pollenca was great. set in a lovely area (in the countryside with olive groves) - but close enough to pollenca 5km to go for dinner. You could really relax there - lovely pool, great hosts - and you can have dinner there - v. good cook, great range of breakie - very pretty - very secluded. i loved it in fact! ... was very nice if you want to be away from all the major tourist hubs...but can go if you want. It very much felt like staying in your own villa and been looked after by hosts. Would very much recommend it to others.

Hotel was fantastic, could not have asked for more. Hosts were great, extremely friendly and always happy to help. Food was amazing and definitely worth staying in for dinner. Overall a fantastic holiday and would recommend Vall De Pollenca to anyone, was close enough to the beach that you could go out otherwise just stay at the villa and relax.
