Sizzling
sun, crystal waters and long warm evenings - Summer's here! |

Where
better to enjoy a relaxing break |

than at
one of Mallorca's unspoilt beaches or cool pools |

Favourite Beaches
|
|
|
North |
|

|
Dominated by the sweeping
sandy bays of Pollenca and Alcudia there's space for everyone.
Both are family friendly beaches with
shallow waters and easy accessibility. Head
a little down the coast for the quieter
areas and join the kite surfers at Muro,
or keep going south until you reach Son Serra. |

Stay at:

The turquoise and crystal
clear waters of Cala Agulla and Cala Mesquida
are our pick of the many coves in this area. They can get busy
during the hot months so another option could be to venture
over the bumpy roads to some of the most natural beaches,
Cala Torta (picture opposite) and Cala Mitijana. |

Stay at:
Son
Barbassa,

|
Some of our favourite coves
can be found from Porto Petro travelling southwest. Cala
Mondrago has two sandy coves (walk round to the second
which is larger and quieter) with crystal clear water. Cala
de S'Almonia (see opposite) is also worth a visit and you
can walk over the headland to several great swimming places. |

Stay at:
Sa Galera,
Sa Vall de Son Macia |

South |
|

|
The South of the island is
particularly spoilt when it comes to white sandy beaches.
Sa Rapita and
Es Trenc (opposite) are 5kms of
aqua blue sea and white sandy beach backed by sand dunes. For
those prepared to walk, park your car at
Colonial Sant Jordi and follow the coast south to Es
Caragol

Cool Pools
|
Take a dip or chill out at
some of the island's best pools. There are a great
selection of pools on our website and here are just four that we've
selected:
|
|

|
Mirabo:
Designer pool in a peaceful haven. Perched high with great
views across the valley to Valldemossa. |
|
|
|
 |
Son Brull:
Super stylish infinity pool surrounded by wooden decking, and
a chic outdoor terrace with giant beds. |
|
|
|
 |
Son Mas:
Huge pool in a tranquil setting. Sits in an elevated position
with endless country views. |
|
|
|
 |
Torrent Fals:
Sleek infinity pool with vineyards on one side and a mountain
backdrop on the other. |

Entertainment |
|
Music concerts are starting
to spring up across the island and Pollenca has a whole

alive in the evening with concerts and open air cinema.

Flight Watch |
|
First Choice (from
Gatwick) and Easy Jet (from several UK airports) seem
to come out top for flying to Palma during July and August.
Prices from both airlines start at 27 pounds one way. |
