HM Jaime III (Palma)

The hotel is light and airy, with some amazing art work. The biggest plus are the helpful and friendly reception staff. Breakfast is good quality - nothing unusual. The rooms are a good size and clean

Contemporary, arty designed boutique hotel. Bags of character for price. Great jacuzzi to relax. Good food. Excellent location. Easy walk to old town and port. Perfect blend of the old and new.

Great. Nice hotel convenient for everything. Shops, bars, restaurants and the sea a short walk away. Room was nice and large, and the buffet breakfast had all the usual continental fare, and plenty of it! Pleased we didn't hire a car as you can potter around on foot, and then for day trips we took the train or bus. Soller was worth a visit (by train) and we also had an enjoyable day in Andratx (by bus).

Spent two night here but wished I'd stayed longer. Palma is a great city and the jaime III was a good value for money stay. Clean, modern and in a good location was exactly what we were looking for and we got all three! Thanks.

We were very happy with the Jaime III. The room was very comfortable and modern and the hotel facilities were all that we needed. The hotel has a fitness room which we didn't use, so I can't comment on the equipment available. Breakfast was served until 10:30 downstairs and was ok. There was free wireless internet available, but no computer for you to use - ok if you have your own laptop. The hotel is right at the top end of Av Jaime III, on Paseo Mallorca. The hotel overlooks the river. The hotel is very easy to get to - at the airport, get on a number 1 bus to Palma and ask for Paseo Mallorca/Av Jaime III. I think it is the second stop on Paseo Mallorca. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. There is a bus stop on the other side of the river for the journey back to the airport, and the buses run about every 15 minutes. The hotel is in a great spot for the old city. It is easy to walk down to the main streets for shopping/bars/restaurants, the cathedral and the water front. I would stay in this hotel again.

Three of us stayed in a triple room in Jaime III over Easter and it was a great hotel, perfectly located for some very good shoe shops and close to the old town and its restaurants and bars. The room was well sized, clean and well presented. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel breakfast was great with lots of choice and seemingly endless supply. The hotel restaurant and bar was a great venue with delicious food. All in all a great place to stay!

Excellent location, comfortable hotel with spacious and well-appointed rooms at a reasonable price. Staff were helpful and efficient. Communal areas relaxing and un-crowded. Would benefit from tea/coffee facilities in-room. Worth noting that air conditioning is not switched on until April regardless of the weather, which could make it slightly uncomfortable in high off-peak temperatures, it being a city-centre hotel in the Med, but I suspect most hotels do this. 8/10
