We had the cottage which was great for the children. Plenty of space and yet close to the pool and main hotel. Good clean hotel in a very quiet area, very satisfied with our stay and service |

As usual we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is quiet and perfect and the staff are always helpful and attentive. Ideal stop to get away from the hectic world of work. We love it and have been every year since our first visit (at least once a year) in 2000. |

We stayed at sa galera with our two small children (2 and 4) in the little cottage at the hotel and we had a fantastic week. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and within an easy short drive (45mins) from palma airport. We hired a car from the airport which is completely essential as the hotel is not within walking distance from any towns. the local town santanyi is within 5 minutes drive, and is a lovely 'arty' unspoilt mallorcan town with a lively market once a week and some good tapas and restaurants. We went to the beach most days, and the best one is Es Trenc which is just a short drive from Sa Galera (20 minutes) and it is just beautiful, backed by a nature reserve, stunning sand and sea, with two good beach bars. Cala Mondrago is also a lovely smaller cove nearby with two good beach restaurants. The staff at Sa Galera were child friendly, and very helpful. The food was good, but it was good to be able to explore the region and eat out at some of the fabulous fresh fish restaurants nearby. Overall, the hotel is a lovely rural base from which to explore this lovely unspoilt area of the island. |
