This newly opened and renovated Mallorcan 1902 Townhouse in Soller is a clever blend of the traditional fabric of the old building with modern design. Attention to detail is everywhere and a stylish yet welcoming haven has been created in the heart of quaint Soller old town.
This is an adult only bolt hole which will delight those who like minimalist yet high spec boutique hotels. One of the new owners is from a design background and this is evident throughout, right down to the beautiful lamps that adorn the walls.
The high ceilinged entrance hall sets the tone for the rest of the hotel with cleverly selected design pieces sitting alongside antiques and original features. This leads through to the light filled dining area and honesty bar. There is also an inviting lounge for guests to use (complete with a wood burner, in case the evenings are chilly in winter).
The breakfast room leads onto the pretty sun basked terrace which has more seating for al fresco breakfasts and relaxing. A delicious breakfast with a changing daily menu using local produce is served up every morning.
Beyond the breakfast terrace, there is a stylish minimalist 8 metre swimming pool surrounded by comfortable loungers – a great spot to while away those sunny days.
Rooms are a mix of doubles and suites and are located on the first and second floors of the townhouse with views to either to the pool, mountains or streets of Soller. Those on the first floor have original beautiful tiled floors, huge French windows and high ceilings, whilst those on the upper floor have vaulted ceilings and wooden floors. With only six individual rooms, guests are well looked after and the friendly hosts are on hand to take care of guests needs, questions and to make restaurant recommendations.
