Tucked away in the heart of Alcudia’s pretty Old Town, this charming manor house hoteland restaurant is just a few minutes walk from the main square.
The building is one of many typical 19th century Mallorcan manor houses which line the Old Town’s narrow streets. Renovated in early 2004, many of the townhouse features have been tastefully retained.
The delightful entrance, with exposed stone walls, pillared arches and a high wood-beamed ceiling, leads through to a lounge area and pleasant courtyard at the back. All the bedrooms are upstairs, and each is individually decorated with dark furniture and pale colours.
The Superior Room at the top of the house is a favourite because of its large bathroom with big Jacuzzi bath. The courtyard is dotted with tables and chairs from the restaurant, which also leads inside to a separate dining area. Local Mallorcan food is served up during most times of the day, or the Old Town’s good selection of restaurants are just a short stroll away.
