Jumeirah Soller Hotel & Spa Review

If you are looking for spectacular sea views, sumptuous luxurious surrounds and a high level of facilities and services, then the Jumeirah Port de Soller should fit the bill. The hotel is in a magical setting, built on a cliff overlooking the Port de Soller and backed by the beautiful Tramuntana mountain range. Stunning views abound in all directions, whether you are in your room, by one of the pools or dining in one of the restaurants. The sunsets are not to be missed, and the award winning and aptly named sunset lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and take in the view.

As is to be expected of a Jumeirah hotel, this hotel is both luxurious and well equipped, with friendly and attentive staff. There is no reason to head out, as with two pools, four bars, two restaurants (serving perfected Spanish tapas and delicacies), a tranquil Spa and a state of the art gym there is something to suit everyone.

The hotel makes the most of its surrounds. The infinity pool with loungers and sea views is a big draw and a great place to unwind. There’s also a separate kids pool so families can relax, splash and have fun. An added benefit for parents looking for rest and relaxation in luxurious surrounds is the hotels kids club (for 3 – 12 yr olds), so adults can fully recharge and lounge by the pool knowing the children are also having fun.

The hotel has managed to retain an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, as the 121 spacious rooms are set out in numerous buildings that meander down the mountain side. All the rooms are spacious, stylish with plenty of luxurious touches and comfortable places to lounge and take in the view. The bathrooms are sumptuous and worth lingering in, especially those with stunning sea views!  Views abound as all rooms have floor to ceiling windows and generous balconies, and if a room with sea view is not a priority to you, then the picturesque mountain and port views are also rather awe inspiring.

For those that feel like exploring beyond the haven of this hotel, the Port de Soller is an added attraction with its pretty seafront promenade and array of high quality restaurants. Enjoy the short walk down the hillside to the harbour or make use of the hotels courtesy transport. For those that want to head that little bit further, hop on the old style tram through orange groves that takes you to the ancient and attractive old town of Soller or get in walking mode and head to the lighthouse on the opposite side of the Port.

Luxury hotel in stunning location. We ate a delicious breakfast every day and ate in a few times. Recommend exploring the village as some decent restaurant/seafood, either take the shuttle (runs every 2 hrs) or just take the 10 minute walk. — BR

The hotel is in an incredible position on the cliffs and has been cleverly designed to maximise views. The pools and restaurants all look to the sea. Our room was not one of the more exclusive ones but it was still exceptional with plenty of space, gadgets and comfort. This is a very well- run hotel, and all the staff throughout were nice, polite and there to ensure we had a good stay. — LW

Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing short break and thanks to your team for making all the necessary arrangements (including transfer). The hotel staff made the difference as they were all warm and attentive with attention to detail throughout. Our room was luxurious and had amazing view. We made the most of the outside areas and spa. Breakfast is served until 11 and there was a lot of changing choice plus made to order options such as omelettes and pancakes. — SB

An amazing spot overlooking the med with excellent customer care and attention to detail. The only downside is the hotel layout is over many levels. — RG

No complaints, a very good hotel. — MS

This hotel is in a really stunning location that sits right in the cliff. We had a mountain view room which had good view looking over the Port. Endless sea views from the communal places: restaurants, terraces, pool & spa. — PD

We rated this hotel for its exquisite views and service. We would happily return. — LC

10/10 . What we expect of a Jumeirah Hotel + beautiful situation and views. — B & AC

What a view and setting! One of the best sunsets we’ve ever seen was while there. Staff all very welcoming and helpful and so set a nice tone throughout the hotel. We can’t fault it and want to return. — JK

Thank you. This is rather a special hotel. Even though we went in high season and the hotel was full there was still plenty of space for everyone and a separate childrens area and pool so that families could be entertained there. Our room was vast with a super comfortable bed and high quality fittings. The food was excellent and we liked the option of going into the Port to try out some restaurants too. — KB
