Easter is a big deal in Mallorca and the island comes alive with parades and religious traditions. Don’t miss the largest parades on the island on Easter Thursday.

Palma is the main place to head to for Easter events, with the Cathedral being the main hub of activity and processions throughout Easter Week.

Stay at:

Palma:

The city is getting busy for Easter, but we’re pleased to still be able to offer availability at quite a few of our places to stay.

One of these is Palma Suites, which has apartments offering stylish self-catering with a fabulous roof terrace, just a short stroll from where the main events and processions will be happening.

For a luxurious contemporary hotel, try Hotel Santa Clara right in the heart of Old Town Palma.

The whole of the island also loves to celebrate Easter, so other great places to stay at are:

North:

Head to Pollenca, and make sure you see the parade down the 365 steps of El Calvari on the eve of Friday 18 April.

Stay at the pretty townhouse hotel of Son Sant Jordi.  If you fancy heading to the island soon then we’re offering a great special rate of 81.60 euros for a standard double rooms with breakfast until 12 April.

North West:

Stay at the character townhouse hotel of Hotel Can Reus, in the picturesque mountain village of Fornalutx. This is a great spot from which to the head out and walk into the surrounding mountains. Just a short distance from Soller also means it’s easy to enjoy the Easter celebrations.  A perfect room choice for families is the twin room (which can fit an extra bed) next to a cosy double room.

West:

Mon Port Hotel & Spa is a great place for families as there are interconnecting double & twin rooms as well as a childrens club and playground to keep the kids entertained. It is situated in the pretty Port de Andratx with its impressive yachts and array of harbour front restaurants.

South East:

If you want to enjoy the festivities but also fancy relaxing in some countryside peace then head to the South East. If you wish to be close to the festivities then stay in the heart of Old Town Arta at the townhouse hotel of Can Moragues.

For those wanting to completely escape, head to the laid back country house Hotel Son Cardaix.

Aparthotel Migjorn is close to the traditional old town on Campos and its Easter celebrations. It is also near to the long white sands of Es Trenc beach – a perfect spot for a picnic and some Frisbee throwing. If you can get there soon, there’s a special offer of 7 nights for the price of 5 until 16 April.
