We love the south of Mallorca with its sweeping long sandy beaches and blue sea, so we were pleased to discover the recently opened Bennoc Petit Hotel near Llucmajor. Bennoc Petit Hotel oozes a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere – perfect for those just needing to unwind and recharge their batteries.
This small finca hotel is tucked away amidst pretty countryside, yet has excellent access to the best beaches on the island. It also boasts easy access to the airport (making it the ideal spot for a long weekend) and also into the thriving capital Palma.
Bennoc Petit Hotel has a warm welcoming atmosphere. The friendly owners have spent years creating this tranquil haven, so they are very willing and ready to ensure guests have the best stay possible. The rooms are stylish and spacious with terraces that lead onto a pretty garden.
The pool is tucked away and is surrounded by large terraces, comfortable loungers and endless countryside, making it an ideal spot just to while away the day.
To ensure guests are fully looked after, great attention has been paid to the restaurant. Open six evenings a week it offers delicious dishes from local sources. The wine list – which features many Mallorcan wines also doesn’t disappoint!
If you stay here, it’s best to hire a car so you can explore the local area and the stunning nature reserve backed beaches. Nearby beaches to head to are the long sandy stretches of Es Trenc and Sa Rapita. If you want to enjoy a good long lazy lunch right on the beach then try the restaurant at Club Nautico at Sa Rapita, or for excellent harbour views try the seafront restaurants at Colonial Sant Jordi.
