Hidden behind large gates and a walled garden, we were blown away by this serene luxury retreat. Caty, the friendly owner was serving breakfast at the time we arrived and it looked a real mouthwatering treat full of homemade goodies and fresh homegrown produce from the estates garden.
This is a peaceful and luxurious place to stay, tucked away in a picturesque, little trodden part of the island. This is one of the places people should come to unwind and take time out from the bustle of the everyday. Although you are not far from everything, as just a 10 minute stroll gets you into the centre of the pretty ancient village of Selva complete with cafes, and a couple of well recommended restaurants.
Hort de Cas Misser was once an olive farm and it is set in the beautiful foothills of the Tramuntana mountains. It still stands on the estates land which now grows a huge array of fresh produce including oranges, figs, peaches, tomatoes and even walnuts, making the place a real favourite amongst foodies.
The hotel has far reaching views and the terraces, pool and the tasteful, comfortable and airy bedrooms all make the most of the surrounding scenery.
This is a place to escape to and from which to also discover some of Mallorca’s most stunning scenery and surrounds. The atmospheric and tranquil Lluc Monastery is close by. If you venture further into the mountains, you will reach Mallorca’s dramatic coastline and the stunning natural wonders of Cala Tuent and Torrent de Pareis.
