The beautiful 19th century Es Convent D’Ariany has been recently renovated in 2013 into stylish, contemporary apartments and suites. Perched on the edge of the ancient village of Ariany, this historical building and it’s large designer pool enjoy unrivalled views of the Es Pla region of Mallorca and a short walk into the charming village centre.
Es Convent is a peaceful place to relax, unwind and take in the view whilst enjoying comfortable modern living. Sleek contemporary furnishings are used throughout, with white walls contrasting with black and grey furniture and dark wood floors. There is an airy and welcoming communal area with comfy sofas, and a large seated terrace (with that all important view!) where meals are served. Breakfast is a generous buffet of local produce, and lunches and dinners use fresh local ingredients to create tasty Mallorcan dishes.
All the apartments and suites are spacious, contemporary designed and well equipped and all have large private terraces with views. For those that want to stay in touch with the modern world, there is free wifi throughout and flat screen TVs in the lounges and bedrooms.
Es Convent d’Ariany is not only a stylish place to stay but it is also a social tourism project for people with disabilities. It aims to give those with disabilities equal opportunities and has at least 5 disabled staff members who work in the gardens, housekeeping and maintenance.
This is a great spot from which to explore the island, with interesting historical local towns nearby and good beaches just 25 minutes away. An array of fresh local produce can be found at local traditional markets with stalls piled with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheeses and Mallorcan specialities.
