Can Cera Hotel Review

Can Cera is the place to stay in Old Town Palma for those wanting luxury and comfort whilst enjoying palatial surrounds. This 700 year old elegant building combines the grandeur of bygone eras with modern comforts. Situated close to Palma’s stunning cathedral, this spacious five star retreat nestles in a quiet spot and has a tranquil atmosphere despite its proximity to the shops, restaurants, sea front and sights.

There is a real sense of space, with numerous grand communal rooms to enjoy. Can Cera also boasts a spa and well reviewed restaurant, popular with residents and locals. The chef trained at a Michelin starred Japanese restaurant and creates unique Mediterranean-Asian fusion cuisine.

At the top of the hotel is a rooftop terrace, a sunny and tranquil oasis with views across Palma's rooftops and church spires.

As there are only 12 rooms the hotel can offer a very personal service. All the elegant, comfortable rooms are individually decorated with antiques and modern touches. The grand suite is perfect for a special occasion with a four poster bed and a large living space furnished with grade one listed wooden panelling and its own private 15m2 terrace.

This is a very high standard hotel in central Palma. As a couple we found it the perfect stay in. Tip: book the spa for exclusive use.

Good morning, we are very pleased with our stay at Can Cera, the hotel was placed very central, the personnel was all the way very friendly and offering good service. The room was nice and quiet, breakfast delicious.

Well done to you guys for suggesting this. Can Cera and Palma get full marks 10/10. We'll be back!

Super thank you! It was a surprise for my girlfriend and she was thrilled. Authentic, charming and stylish. We thought the antique decoration was so tasteful around the whole hotel and in our room too. It was a little tricky to find (possibly more to do with my map reading;-)) but we soon felt familiar with the area and its location and realised we were close to everything.

Just great. They really know how to run a hotel here. You feel like a real 'guest'. Staff are charming and the hotel is beautiful. Location is great too.

Thank you for this little gem. It was amazing. Really central yet very quiet. You can be at the cathedral, shops, sea front and anything else of interest in the Old Town within 5 minutes and 10 minutes tops. The building is steeped in history and the renovation is so sympathetic. Stay here and you'll be very happy with your decision.

Can Cera is very beautiful. The building has a real wow factor particularly the entrance area, inner patio and communal rooms on the 1st floor. The decor in the room was beautiful and everything worked to five star standards. Would definitely return.

Stayed here as a single traveller before meeting my parents in Soller. It was a very restful place in the heart of Palma. Very nice decor, style and staff. Everything a short walk away and I felt really at home in the city and Can Cera. Top marks!

Really nice hotel. It was very hot when we stayed but the hotel suggested some nice beaches for the daytime and we had the city to enjoy at night. Palma was lovely and the little Tapas restaurants were yummy! As we headed out in the morning we skipped breakfast (the cost is additional) a couple of times although it was nice the mornings we tried it.

My wife and I stayed along with her parents and both generations said it was the best city centre hotel we'd ever stayed in. Lots of character, individual charm, high quality furnishings and very thoughtful staff to boot. Close to everything in the old town. If you're staying for a few days try to old steam train up to Soller - it's a wonderful day out and the perfect compliment to city sightseeing.
