Finca Gomera

Finca Gomera is a 17^th century farmstead turned art infused luxury boutique hotel just inland from Mallorca’s southern coastline of long sweeping white beaches and 20 minutes south of the vibrant and historical Palma Old Town. Set amongst acres of vineyards and landscaped gardens dotted with olive and fruit trees, this handsome honey hued pile is a winning blend of serene tranquillity, luxury finishes and spectacular panoramas – the ideal setting to relax and rejuvenate.

Caroline Clough Lacoste, the friendly owner, lives in a part of the finca and welcomes guests to enjoy Son Gomera as if it was their home. He and the charming Ana are on hand to ensure a comfortable stay and advise on local interests, whether it’s the tastiest restaurants, most beautiful beaches or even where to watch the best sunset on the island!

Five of the luxury bedrooms are in the main house, with entrances direct from the outside or via different staircases. All three of the Suites are located here and are beautifully appointed with their own private terrace. Four of the double rooms and the double with terrace are in a separate building where the rooms can be booked individually or as a private villa, called the Patio House. As the Patio House, guests also have access to a large sitting room, designer kitchen and spacious outdoor private terrace.

Breakfast buffet on the terraces includes a fantastic selection of fresh juices, fruit, quality yogurts and a wide range of cereals. Guests also have an excellent selection of local cheeses, charcuterie, pastries and freshly baked bread, with cooked egg dishes prepared to order.

To help unwind, a yoga teacher and masseur are available at the hotel. The closest beach is the narrow pretty sandy cove at Cala Pi, or for a larger expanse of white soft sand and turquoise sea, head to Sa Rapita (15 minutes’ drive away) which then merges into Es Trenc.
