Cal Reiet is a restored historical manor house dating from 1881, set in peaceful countryside with lush gardens to explore. A main feature amidst the gardens is the enticing 20 metres swimming pool surrounded by terraces and comfortable loungers. Meals at Cal Reiet are served on the pretty poolside terrace or the relaxed dining room. Breakfast is a buffet of healthy, delicious and mainly organic local produce including eggs and cheese. Smoothies are available as well as an array of milks. Freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices and smoothies can also be enjoyed at the pool bar throughout the day. Dinner is offered and varies with the seasons and local produce. The pretty village of Santanyi is an easy walk away and has numerous restaurants, cafes and bars to enjoy. Santanyi is a creative hub with numerous galleries and independent shops to explore as well as a twice weekly market.
There is a beautiful light filled 120 m2 yoga room that can host classes of up to 50 people. This is a peaceful space for yoga, meditation and contemplation. To ensure guests can be rejuvenate as best as possible Cal Reiet has a wellness centre with a private treatment room and outdoor massage area with numerous therapists and a personal trainer on hand. There is also a simple gym with cross trainer and free weights.
Cal Reiet is a tasteful and informal place where modern technology is put on the back burner. Despite the elegance and modern day comforts (including wifi), there are no TVs in the rooms. There are just 15 rooms and suites, so Cal Reiet maintains an intimate and laid back atmosphere. The grand manor building houses the 10 spacious deluxe and luxury rooms whilst the one and two bedroom chic suites complete with kitchen and lounge are situated in more rustic yet still stylish outbuildings.
