Nestled in the peaceful countryside, Son Jorbo is a charming adult only retreat that blends the rustic charms of a traditional Mallorcan finca with the comforts of contemporary living.

The friendly hosts, Annie and Martin, have spent eleven years converting Son Jorbo to create a calm and relaxed place with five private apartments. Each apartment has been designed with individual style and tasteful touches, and all enjoy a long list of fine details to make for a comfortable stay. With separate entrances and their own outdoor terrace, guests can savour peace and privacy, or relax by the pool and around the house.

The shared areas have been carefully thought out to create a homely feel. Take a drink from the well stocked honesty bar and relax with a book or board game in the library. For sun worshippers, there’s a pretty Moroccan terrace filled with colourful flowers, or an inviting pool complete with loungers and parasols.

Son Jorbo is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Leisurely continental breakfasts are served on the pretty terrace, and the well equipped apartments can cope with most culinary feasts whipped up from fresh local produce bought in the surrounding market towns. For alfresco diners, there’s an outdoor barbeque area – a great spot to watch the sun set. Exploring around, the local traditional villages and towns are certainly worth a visit, and the south east coast boasts some of Mallorca’s finest and most natural beaches (20 to 30 minutes drive).

Annie and Martin are super hosts and they have created a super place to stay. Our apartment, Rosa, was lovely. It had a great terrace with fabulous views. Breakfasts were as you described – delicious! We didn’t bother cooking too much in our apartment as the restaurants in Porreres were good and affordable. Thanks for all your help. — TW

Friendly hosts from the start, who obviously like to make sure guests have a great stay. They have thoughts of all the little extras to make the stay as comfortable and easy as possible. On hand with advice for trips, sites to see and beaches to relax on. A car a must to make the most of the location. — GJ

We liked that Son Jorbo was adult only so a quiet place. Spotlessly clean apartment and very well equipped with all the extras. Easy to visit the rest of the island with good roads. Nearby town of Porreres was nice with decent restaurants. — KB

The house is designed for peace and relaxation so the owners have decided on a no child policy
Restrictions:
3 nights minimum stay in low and mid seasons; 4 nights in high season. Shorter stays possible for late availability.
Extras:
One apartment has a second bedroom. For two people sharing this there is a small additional charge of 5 Euros / night. For a 3rd person, the additional cost is 65 Euros.
Single use of an apartment is a discount of 30 Euros per night.
