Alfabia Nou is perched on the edge of the Tramuntana mountains. This immaculate country estate is a relaxing haven just a stone’s throw from the quaint village of Bunyola, and a short drive to Soller and Palma.

Commanding central position amongst the estate’s terraced gardens and surrounding woodland, the attractive main house of Alfabia Nou has two annexes lovingly restored into comfortable well-equipped apartments. A further six similar standard apartments are located in converted stables in the garden, with terraces and views to the mountains.

The apartments are all similar in style with tasteful neutral finishes and character exposed stone walls. Each has a large living room, and their own private terrace with table and chairs. Alfresco dining is also available on the garden terrace by the pool, which has a large communal barbeque and picnic tables.

Exploring nearby, only 200m away are the famous Alfabia gardens, created over 500 years ago and continually developed throughout the centuries. Well marked walking routes are also in abundance and cyclists converge from all over Europe to tackle the local scenic roads.

Soller and the sea can be reached within 15 minutes drive of Alfabia Nou, or if you’re looking for a city fix, Palma and all its delights are only 20 minutes drive away.

Alfabia Nou is a really beautiful place surrounded by lovely countryside and animals. Our apartment was modern, spacious and comfortable. The pool and the big sun beds were perfect for a relaxed afternoon. Thanks for telling us to rent a car as there are lots of interesting places to visit from there. We popped up to Soller and Port de Soller quite a few times. In particular we liked the beach at the port and its seafront with restaurants and bars. We also loved Bunyola, it felt like a real old town of Mallorca with places to eat on the square and a decent supermarket and bakery for the self catering. — SW

Our family had a wonderful stay at Alfabia Nou. A relaxing place with good pool, comfortable apartment, and even a bbq area. Surrounded by countryside but with good access around the island (20 min drive to Palma, 10 min to Soller) along with vintage train up to Soller which is worth the trip for experience and the views along the way. This is a well maintained place with lovely pool and view and nice touches such as BBQ area and picnic tables. We enjoyed our few days here and had a good explore with our hire car. Bunyola surprised us as a pretty place with a nice square and cafes. We’ll be back to ask you more questions and to explore Mallorca some more. — JP

This countryside place suited us well. Nice pool and great views and well equipped apartment. It was quite near to the Soller tunnel but there wasn’t any particular noise, I think the sheep bells were louder. Make sure you have a car and you will enjoy your stay here. — JT

The apartment was tasteful and well furnished with decent equipment. We were a bit concerned about the location of Alfabia Nou before we arrived as we couldn’t figure out how easy it would be to get to the local town, beaches and other facilities. We relaxed on arrival as the roads are good and everywhere is easy to get to. We did have to pay to go through the tunnel to Soller (5 euros) and the beach at the Port there, but we were happy to do this on a few of the days. On the other days we discovered other parts of the island and found it a good place to do this from. — MR
