Set in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Estellencs, Hotel Nord is a charming, small hotel that has been decorated with thought and taste.

Originally a large town house, the hotel has been beautifully restored by its owner, Antonia, to create a welcoming, laid back place. The centre of the house opens up into a delightful outdoor patio, providing a peaceful place for breakfast or a relaxed evening meal. The hotel has terraces from which to enjoy the sun, and a lounge complete with wood fire for cosy winter nights.

Outside Nord, the steep narrow cobbled streets and honey stone houses offer peaceful surrounds, and there’s a smattering of restaurants (international and Mallorcan) and bars. Whilst further down the hill, there’s a pleasant shingle beach cove with crystal clear water and a beach bar. The village sits on the side of one of the Tramuntana mountain peaks, Mount Galatzo, and provides great views out to sea and easy access into the mountains.

We loved our stay at Nord. It was a real contrast after the buzz of Soller and we felt like we’d stepped back in time. The village and hotel are charming and perfect for a 2 or 3 night stay. Breakfast was delicious! — DS

An excellent choice for the walking part of our trip. Our room was spacious and pretty with a very comfy bed. Pleased to have opted for a room with terrace as it was nice to sit out and take in the view. There was also a nice enclosed patio downstairs which is pleasant for a drink and breakfast. The bar tends to run on an honesty system which was nice and relaxed. There are a good couple of restaurants just up the road for dinner. Kind regards. — JD

Went as a couple to do some walking in the Mallorcan mountains. We were blown away by how beautiful the area is and the many walking routes. We stayed at Hotel Nord which feels miles away from any mass tourism. Our room was comfortable. Breakfast is in a small dining room or the terrace and it offered a good range. We especially liked the freshly squeezed orange juice from the local orange groves. Dinner could be found just down the street as there were a few good restaurants on the main through road. — L & JW

Pretty little townhouse in a quiet part of the island. Friendly owner who was happy to tell us good places to eat and other information. We chose a room with terrace which was nice to have. Room simple but comfortable. — RM

The coast is very scenic and we even had a couple of hours on the stoney beach and in sea at Estellenc at the end of October. — DS
